Outcome descriptions and assessments of practical work often tend to focus primarily on cognitive learning outcomes. Still, some of the most important types of outcomes concern the students' affective learning, and these often remain tacit or implicit in the teaching. In this meeting, we will learn about and discuss the affective learning that takes place in the laboratory - for instance, the role practical work has in shaping students' attitudes, capacity beliefs, motivation, and conceptions of professional identity. The SIG meeting will be an online meeting, and we welcome both practitioners and researchers – both Danish and international participants.
