The two PhD fellows will be part of the three-year research project ‘Asserting the Nation: Comparative studies on the rise of neo-nationalism in higher education’. The project explores how neo-nationalism has affected European and national higher education policy in France, Poland and Denmark.
PhD 1 examines how neo-nationalism has affected university policy in France. The candidate must be able to access empirical data in French and write the dissertation in English.
PhD 2 examines how neo-nationalism has affected university policy in Poland. The candidate must be able to access empirical data in Polish and write the dissertation in English.
The candidates will spend 2.5 years at Aarhus University in Copenhagen, Denmark, and 6 months in France and Poland respectively collecting data.
The candidates must have obtained a Master’s degree in the humanities or social science field.
