Klara Bolander Laksov is Professor of Higher Education and Director of the Stockholm University Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching. She is previous chair of the Swedish Educational Development network, Swednet and a co-editor of the International Journal for Academic Development.
Klara Bolander Laksov is actively involved in many international collaborations. Her research focuses on educational development, for example on pedagogical leadership, local educational cultures, scholarship of teaching and learning, and organisational change in higher education. She is currently working on a project where opportunities for life long learning in different public sector work environments, including higher education, are explored regarding the sustainability of formal and informal learning.
