Dear colleagues
We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 15th International Conference on Networked Learning in Higher Education, Lifelong Learning and Professional Development.
We invite submissions that engage critically and creatively with the field of networked learning and address one or more of the following conference themes:
• Equity, inclusion, and digital transformation in networked learning
• Policy and AI in networked learning
• Future of teaching and value-based AI supported networked learning
• Ethical and responsible innovation and research
• Spaces, places and modalities for networked learning
• Networked learning in formal, non-formal and informal contexts of learning and development across the lifespan
• Theory and theorisation advancing the field of networked learning
• Philosophies, theories, methodologies, and research designs for networked learning
The conference will take place in Brussels, Belgium 6-8 May 2026, and will be hosted by FARI - AI for the Common Good Institute and d-teach - Online School and Training Centre.
Keynote Speakers:
• Rupert Wegerif - University of Cambridge, UK
• Taina Bucher - University of Oslo, Norway
• Rob Heyman - Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium
Key Dates:
• Full/short papers or symposia proposals must be submitted by 10th October, 2025
• Workshops/Round tables must be submitted by 21st November, 2025
• Notification of acceptance by 12th December, 2025
All papers are peer-reviewed. All submissions are published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers are invited for publication in an edited book as part of the Springer book series
“Research in Networked Learning”.
