In this seminar, postdoc Martin Hauberg-Lund Laugesen will share core findings of his 2021 PhD thesis “Written Engagement”.
His PhD research focused on undergraduate students’ experiences of writing exams in three different disciplines at the University of Southern Denmark: biology, philosophy, and economics. In his lecture, Laugesen will present his empirical analysis, phenomenological theorisation as well as his practical recommendations for university teachers who want to develop their pedagogical practices in order to heightening their students’ engagement in writing in ways that nourish further learning and identity development.
