Digital competences are the talk of the town. Whenever education is discussed, you hear about how we can improve the digital competences of the educators as well as the students. But how can we implement more technologies in our teaching to strengthen student learning?
The use of educational technologies, EdTech, is much more than adding a YouTube clip on Absalon or using clickers in a lecture. EdTech are powerful tools that you and your students can benefit from when used in a feasible didactical setting.
The course will introduce the opportunities and challenges involved in using EdTech to create effective and student-centred learning environments in different educational setups (face-to-face learning, blended learning, online learning).
The course is a four-days course stretching over two weeks. The days alternate with synchronous teaching on campus and online formats. The time in between the two blocks is used for self-study and producing a framework for a lesson or course module and creating digital teaching resources.
The course is open for all teachers and PhD-students in higher education but it is reserved for PhD students at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences at UCPH. Anyone can apply for the course, but if you are not a PhD student at the Graduate School, you will be placed on the waiting list until enrollment deadline.
