Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science Tommy Ahlers will help inaugurate DTU’s new centre.

You are hereby invited to the opening of DTU Entrepreneurship on 6. december 2018. The opening of the centre will include speeches by Tommy Ahlers, Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science, Anders Bjarklev, DTU President and Jes Broeng, Director of DTU Entrepreneurship.

At the opening, you will gain insight into the centre’s vision and activities, and have ample opportunity to discuss specific options for collaboration as the centre is based on an open business model to connect researchers, industry, public stakeholders, and DTU’s entrepreneurial talents with inspiration from e.g. Berkeley, Stanford, and MIT.

You will encounter representatives from a wide range of companies and foundations as well as researchers from the centre and entrepreneurs from DTU’s ecosystem. Student start-ups will present their first prototypes during the event, and entrepreneurial DTU graduates who have already founded viable start-up companies will also be attending.

With the new centre, we want to increase the entrepreneurship culture and boost the ecosystem for start-ups in close collaboration with DTU departments and students, the innovation hub DTU Skylab and DTU’s Tech Trans unit. It is therefore only natural for us to celebrate the opening of the centre at DTU Skylab, which acts as an accelerator for new and upcoming companies.
