In the occasion of the newly establised Centre for Higher Education Futures (CHEF), there will be held an event marking the launch of the centre.

About CHEF
A new Centre for Higher Education Futures (CHEF) has been established at Aarhus University as a partnership between the Danish School of Education (DPU) and the Centre for Teaching Development and Digital Media (CUDiM) to:

  • foster knowledge exchange between Danish and international researchers on higher education
  • create a new space for discussion between researchers and the policy community in Denmark and Europe
  • experiment with new models for higher education and its institutional forms.

The research unit aims critically to explore the transforming position, role and organization of universities through collaborative research projects, network activities, conferences, and experiments within three interlinked and internationally grounded focal areas: 1) Shifting Ecology of Higher Education. 2) Transforming academia and 3) Building the university of the future.
