Do you teach a Humanities subject at the master-level and would like to offer your students ways to enhance their creativity and their knowledge impact? Are you a supervisor of student interns with the cultural creative sector? Or, are you on a Humanities study board and would like to add more impact to your course offers?
If so, please join this hands-on workshop to explore the maximum benefit from combining the ethos of Humanities and technology development which ranges from digital storytelling to game play, from 3D modeling to virtual reality. This masterclass focuses on how Humanities’ critical thinking may gain in creativity and co-creation by applying design thinking processes and introducing to maker culture. It also focuses on how human and humanities knowledge can contribute to a sustainable (digital) transition of society.
These themes will be explored within the context of the IGNITE curriculum, a suite of courses delivered through #dariahTeach and designed for online, blended and flipped classrooms, workshops, or life-long learning activities. An objective of the Masterclass is to provide each participant with strategies for integrating these methods, technologies, and skills into their teaching practice. The participants across different fields and institutions are invited to bring their own course development and challenges to the table and explore their potential impact and values upon the society together.
Generous funding is available for all participants from EU Member States travelling to Aarhus.
