Redaktionen for Dansk Universitetspædagogisk Tidsskrift

Call for Papers for DUT 24

THEME: Students – co-creators, co-teachers, co-researchers

This year’s DUN conference addresses students as co-creators, co-teachers, and co-researchers. International research shows that students’ influence on their teaching is of crucial importance for their engagement, work effort and learning. With this knowledge in mind, several educations in Denmark and internationally are increasing their focus on content of learning, where students in different ways are involved as co-creators of the teaching and their educational process as a whole; among other things, with the use of co-creation strategies such as Peer Feedback, Peer Assessment, Learner Led Teaching and Students as Partners. To involve students to a greater extent in the teaching means an increased focus on learning as co-created between teachers and students in research and in practice.

In continuation of the DUN conference the Journal of Danish University Education (DUT) calls for papers for the 24th issue.

Articles could for example examine the following questions:

  • What does international research tell us about students as co-creators, co-teachers, and co-researchers?
  • What are the benefits and what are the problems when involving students as co-creators, co-teachers, and co-researchers?
  • How do we best invite students to become involved as co-creators, co-teachers, co-researchers?

Deadline for submission is August 26, 2017.
The editors wish to inform that articles not addressing the theme are still welcome and will be published in the theme number alongside the other articles.

The Journal of Danish University Education is only journal in Denmark on teaching and learning in Danish higher education. The journal I published twice a year and comprises both peer-reviewed (BFI ranking = 1) and non-peer-reviewed articles.

Information on article genres, submission procedures, review criteria and review processes are available on the journals website: Link Arrow http://www.dun-net.dk/dut-dansk-universitetspaed-tidsskrift/.

Please be careful to contact chief editor Kim J. Herrmann Mail kh@au.dk if you wish to submit in English since special criteria have to be met if you want to publish in English.
