The conference in Aarhus will play an important role in the joint international endeavour of developing and strengthening the discussions about the purpose and role of the university as an institution. The conference will, therefore, be central to the formation of an initiative to establish a lasting joint international academic venture into the philosophy of higher education.
The overall focus of this annual conference at SDU, Odense is active teaching and learning. This year the conference has a special focus on Blended Learning, by many considered "the new normal" within university teaching.
The SIG, Teaching and Learning in the International Classroom, will conduct a workshop where the importance of international students' sense of belonging to their learning is taken to consideration. How can we improve? What strategies and practices are possible for learning benefits? The workshop is being held in Copenhagen.
